“Years in the making, Inbox is by the same people who brought you Gmail, but it’s not Gmail: it’s a completely different type of inbox, designed to focus on what really matters.”
We’ve been waiting for something like this for a long time. Personally, I haven’t found anything helpful enough to make a huge switch out of my classic (read: boring and not-so-effective) method of Gmail in-browser set-up. Scheduling, quick preview, snooze-messaging, smart bundling? Sounds like fantasy-talk. Not anymore. One of the core online tasks we face everyday; our email, now has more oomph behind it. Not only that, but the engineers seem really stoked. So that’s exciting.
If you want to read more about this exciting new email expansion, we recommend checking out a write up by our friends over at The Verge. Like we said – we’ve been craving a fantastic, better email experience, and we can’t wait to try it out. Oh, and if you have an early invite that you’d like to send along to us – we will be your friend forever and ever. (Hint, hint. Nudge.)
Have you tried it? What do you think?
